Grand Pequot Tower at Foxwoods

“The room overall looked nice and clean. I stayed in 1681, just a few doors down from the elevator. I’m not sure if it was the elevator or something else, but every few minutes there was a noise similar to a plane taking off—not extremely loud, but definitely noticeable. The biggest issues were in the bathroom, where you can really see the heavy use. There’s corrosion/mineral deposits around the fixtures, and when pulling up the diverter for the shower, the tub spout sprays water everywhere. Because of that, the tub doesn’t always drain fast enough, so you can end up standing in pooled water. The showerhead also had noticeable mineral buildup. The vanity counter was more worn and scratched than expected, and the toilet had visible mineral stains. Overall, the bathroom could definitely use a refresh. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable, and the sheets and pillows were clean with no issues. The AC and heat worked well and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. I’ve stayed at this resort years ago and remember it being in better condition. With the amount of use these rooms get, a renovation—especially in the bathrooms—seems overdue, particularly for the price they’re charging.”

“I am a travel advisor with a travel company and my husband and I stayed here this past weekend and we can say the hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are big. We also liked that the hotel was connected to all the other hotels which made it convenient when getting around. The only down side was that my husband has a Tesla and the amount of EV chargers that the hotel has is not enough we feel the hotel should have more installed out side the hotel as well.”
